The natural conclusion any reader would draw from this is that Labour supporters made the repugnant, anti-Semitic comments. The problem is…they didn’t. Those found guilty of these particular anti-Semitic acts had absolutely nothing to do with Labour. For an experienced journalist like Lewis to be unaware of this salient and inconvenient fact hints at incompetence or impiety; perhaps a twisting of the truth to fit her narrative.

On 4th March 2019, John Harris, again utilising Freedland’s ‘Comment is free’ agitprop, wrote an article entitled "The unanswered question: why do antisemites think Labour is the party for them?" which included an embedded video link of Berger listing the examples of anti-Semitism which she had been a victim of (alas, with no explanation that these were unrelated to Labour).174
